Good Morning and welcome to my blog!

For those of you coming here for the first time, my name is Aimee Shaye and I am a Young Adult/New Adult clean fantasy author. I have published books in different genres but I mainly write for Young Adult and New Adult audiences and have recently switched over to clean novels. The switch was a no-brainer for me. I have three nephews of various ages: 13, 6, and 1 and the 13 year old constantly asks me if he can see what I'm working on or read my next novel. I was ashamed of myself for telling him, "You're too young right now," especially since he hates reading. So I made the shift. For my nephews, for my niece, for the children I will one day have.

Family is super important to me. My family becomes before everything including my full-time job. Without them, I wouldn't be where I am today.

I want to share with you my writing, my family, my quirks, my ups and downs. I want you all to get to know me not just as author Aimee Shaye but as the person behind the words, too! So I'll keep this first one short, sweet, and to the point!

• I am married to my college sweetheart and graphic designer

• I am the youngest of 3 children

• I have a small cockapoo named Rusty

• I love watching Fantasy and Sci-Fi shows such as Supernatural, Beastmaster, Merlin, Charmed, Once Upon a Time, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Roswell

• My favorite authors include: Sherrilyn Kenyon, Nicholas Sparks, Stephenie Meyer, Melissa de la Cruz, Edgar Allan Poe, George R.R. Martin, and Jay Kristoff
